  • Imaging Tunnels: Products are scanned as they pass through automated imaging tunnels equipped with high-resolution cameras.

  • Human Review and Action: Flagged items are then reviewed by Amazon associates to confirm the defect and decide on the next steps. These might include:

    • Donating or recycling: Unsalvageable products might be donated or responsibly recycled.
